Confidential can reveal one of the most popular bachelors on Seven’s top-rating reality romance show was forced to quit the show suddenly due to a personal matter.

It’s understood the exit is revealed this week with the farmer in question leaving due to a death in the family.

He leaves behind a blossoming romance with at least one contestant however we’re reliably informed that his departure did not necessarily spell the end of the union and that things may have continued off screen.

Meanwhile Seven is welcoming the ratings boost from the popular dating show – which averages just under a million viewers nationally – which they revived in the wake of Channel 9’s decision to cut it loose.

It’s understood casting has already begun for another round of farmers and bachelorettes, confirming at least one more season will go ahead.
