THE hangover from last month’s Australian Commercial Radio Awards night lingers at KIIS FM, with news the executive producer of the Kyle & Jackie O program has handed in his resignation while another KIIS staffer has been sacked.

On the day KIIS breakfast star Jackie “O” Henderson confirmed she had separated from her husband of 15 years, her show’s EP Bruno Bouchet resigned his post.

Yesterday KIIS confirmed Bouchet’s departure from the show.

“After two years as executive producer on The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Bruno’s contract has come to an end and he’s chosen not to renew it,” an ARN spokesman said.

It is a year since Bouchet first flagged his intentions to quit the show.

Back then he was persuaded to sign on for another year, but inside sources say it has been a draining 12 months.

The ACRAs took place on October 20, when Kyle and Jackie O celebrated as Best On-Air FM team.

Within days came news of the end of Henderson’s marriage, Bouchet’s resignation and the sacking of a KIIS staff member who allegedly harassed another staffer at the awards night.

As a result, the mood behind the scenes of the Kyle & Jackie O show has been a bit flat in the past fortnight, which might explain why Henderson sent her apologies and didn’t show up at Sandilands’ and Imogen Anthony’s much-anticipated Halloween party in Kings Cross on Friday night.

Also not in attendance was regular Kyle & Jackie O guest Beau Ryan, who was out of town yesterday and could not be reached for comment.
