KARL Stefanovic’s shoe designer partner Jasmine Yarbrough has opened up about her relationship with the controversial Today host. She then gave away where they go for weekend getaways and the Sydney location they go out to eat during the week.
The Mara & Mine co-founder did a fashion Q & A with Grazia when she decided to plug the Channel 9 breakfast show instead.
Yarbrough, 34, told the publication that she started her day with “hot water with lemon” before putting “on the Today Show to get my fix of news.”
The blonde also said her week was “a rush” and that she and Stefanovic, 42, often spent their weekends at Whale Beach to be with friends.
She added that their date nights were spent at local restaurants near their home in Mosman, in Sydney’s north.
“Thursday nights I like to have date night with my partner. It could be dinner at a restaurant in town but we mainly stay local. Our locals are the best,” she told Grazia.
“The time together in our busy worlds is so important and lovely. It’s vital to reconnect and communicate and most importantly laugh. And we laugh, all the time.
“There’s always a lot going on so finding the humour in life keeps you sane. We are truly blessed to have found each other.”
Yarbrough said she enjoyed home-cooked meals and most of her weekends were spent with friends.
“I genuinely miss them and try and reconnect as much as I can. Then I sleep. I love to sleep. And know that a shower is not far away,” she said.
Stefanovic and Yarbrough last month sealed their love in a top-secret commitment ceremony in Sydney’s Palm Beach, about one year after they started dating in 2017.
Stefanovic and his brother Peter have spent the past few weeks in damage control, after an Uber driver released details about a conversation the pair had about their colleagues, bosses and shows on the Nine Network.
According to the Uber driver, who did an exclusive interview with New Idea, Stefanovic vented his frustration at new Today co-host Gardner, who he accused of “sitting on the fence” and not having enough opinions.
The driver also claimed Stefanovic became angry as he declared that she needed to “step up” if she “wanted to stay on the show.”
