‘COVID colour conspiracy’: Viewers question Today host’s new look
Today host Karl Stefanovic has revealed a new look on his Nine show this week but when he was confronted about it, his response was eyebrow raising.

TV host Karl Stefanovic has laughed off suggestions he has dyed his hair in what he has referred to as “the COVID colour conspiracy”.
Fans have questioned whether or not the popular Today co-host has done something new with his locks appearing more chocolate than brown.
“I’m glad to be providing some light relief to the national during dark times,” Stefanovic told Confidential. “I absolutely haven’t done anything to my hair.”
Stefanovic explained that Today is currently being shot in “the B Studio”, which has different lighting and makes everyone’s hair appear darker.
“It is what happens when you don’t have full staff on,” he said, referring to the social distancing measures production has taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Outside of work commitments at Channel 9, Stefanovic has been keeping himself busy on an interesting side project, a home made chat show from his Sydney house called The Weekly Tonight Show (With Karlos).
“It may not be the best show in the history of the world, but it’s a show for you, at home on a Friday night,” he said to his 253,000 fans and followers when he launched the show earlier this month.
To Confidential, he added: “I’ve just employed some mates to make it who were out of work. They are guns. Everyone needs to do their bit.”
