Reality star Keira Maguire says she’s finally ready to settle down.
The former Bachelor, Bachelor In Paradise and I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! contestant has moved to Brisbane from Melbourne in a bid to find a life partner.
“I’ve actually made the decision,” Maguire told Confidential.
“In the past I’ve never dated to marry, now I am ready. I am 38, I feel like I am ready. It is not that I want to have children or anything, I am just ready to be in a committed relationship. I want someone to share my life with.”
Maguire is originally from Sydney but moved to Melbourne a few years back. She was a polarising figure on reality television, known for speaking her mind for fear or favour.
She has been unlucky in love with her previous boyfriends including fellow reality stars Jarrod Woodgate (Bachelorette) and Matt Zukowski (Love Island).
“Obviously I have dated my fair share of frogs,” Maguire said at an event for Naked Sundays.
“Also I have been emotionally unavailable for the past year but I am ready to settle down.”
So what sort of bloke is MaGuire seeking?
“I can’t say tall because how do you know?” she said.
“All of my past boyfriends were tall and that didn’t work out so I probably should go for the shorties. I actually don’t know what I want. I do want someone that is successful, driven, has his own thing going on but I also want someone who is understanding, patient and kind. I honestly just want somebody that I get along with.”
