Real estate guru Gavin Rubenstein went to great lengths to keep his relationship a secret, however three years after he began dating model Alexandra Dankwa, it’s over.
Saturday Confidential can reveal Rubenstein and Dankwa have gone their separate ways and Rubenstein is reportedly “devastated”.
The 35-year-old millionaire, whose social media seems to have been hacked in recent days, is once again a bachelor.
Rubenstein recently participated in a podcast where he revealed, “I’ve got the ability to move forward and I don’t dwell. Right now I’m going through some personal stuff, but I don’t think there’s any point going there.”
Dankwa, who appears to have been modelling overseas for much of this year, once dated The Apprentice host Mark Bouris’ son Dane for about two years back in 2015.
In other real estate news, Rubenstein was among more than 300 well-heeled guests who attended the inaugural Cohen Handler Charity Gala two weekends ago.
While the receiving charity Humpty Dumpty are understood to be grateful for the $360,000 donation made by Simon Cohen and his guests, some couldn’t help but voice to Saturday Confidential their concerns over the “relatively paltry” charity donation.
While many acknowledge the economy is tough and the cost of living is high, they feel the fact Sydney’s most esteemed and successful real estate agents and buyers agents were in the room would have warranted a considerably larger donation.
Our spies in the room felt bad for the auctioneer who kicked off bidding at $100,000 to which there was no response, forcing him to drop what he was asking for considerably.
Rubenstein (worth more than $50 million), buyer’s real estate agent Simon Cohen (worth $25 million), Monika Tu (whose company sells $300 million worth of property annually) were among those in the room.
“I would love to add up how much the real estate agents in that room made that day at their auctions,” one guest said.
“I can guarantee it would be more than $360,000.”
