Camilla Franks’ daughter Luna shares limelight for Mad Manor shoot

The three-year-old has shown she has already learned a great deal about the fashion world from her leading designer mum.

At just three years of age, Luna Gypsy Jones is a little pro in front of the camera.

The daughter of fashion designer Camilla Franks and artist JP Jones stars alongside her mother in her latest campaign, inspired by all things England.

“Luna comes to my design studio, she comes into the office with me, she comes to campaigns and so she tends to find herself waddling on to set,” Franks said.

“She just loves it. I always have her behind camera and I guess because I am usually on set she wants to be there with me. It is really beautiful to share with her.”

The new collection, called The Mad Manor, marks Franks’ final work trip pre-COVID.

For each season she spends several weeks at a destination, which is then the inspiration for her next range.

It was also her first inspiration trip after being treated for breast cancer.

“Mad Manor was such a joyful baby born out of my new-found freedom because it had been so long since I had been able to travel,” she explained.

“After cancer I went on this real journey into wearing black and dark and I guess more street.

“As soon as my long hair came off I went less boho; so I shifted into this new world and I think you see that within this collection.

“You will still see my boho self, but I guess she is more rock and anarchist.”
