If you were wondering why there was virtually no storyline in controversial reality series Byron Baes, we might be able to shed some light.
It turns out the big plot twist never really panned out.
Producers had hoped to set up a love triangle between model and marketing expect Elias Chigros, reality TV regular Nathan Favro and Gold Coast musician Sarah Tangye — however turns out neither bloke was interested.
“Sarah was the lead. She was the girl who moved from the Gold Coast to Byron Bay,” one insider told Saturday Confidential.
“I couldn’t figure out how producers could have gotten away with having absolutely no storyline … it turns out Elias didn’t want to have anything to do with her and nor did Nathan, which is why you can tell she just faded out and went away back to the Gold Coast.”
Netflix series Byron Baes has been branded ‘awful yet addictive’ and ‘completely random’ by viewers.
The reality show follows the lives of 14 influencers who help each other grow their businesses, connections and social followings in the idyllic Australian beach town of Byron Bay.
