THE Brownlow Medal red carpet is normally an opportunity for the wives and girlfriends of AFL stars to take the spotlight.
Western Bulldog star Jason Johannisen just threw the rule book out the window as he arrived at Crown Casino with partner Logan Shine.

The premiership player donned a three-piece chequered suit which had him more closely resembling a pop star than a footballer.
Not that his partner faded into the background. Shine stunned herself wearing three different types of lace and what she described as “lots of feathers”.
But it was Johannisen’s get-up that lit up social media.
While some said the premiership player resembled a rock star and made the natural comparison to NFL superstar Odell Beckham Junior, others made their opinions on the suit painfully clear.
