IT was the dress that divided our fashionistas.
But with Queen WAG Rebecca Judd retiring from the carpet, there was one clearly ready to snatch the crown.
Marc Murphy’s newly rocked fiancee Jessie Habermann walked the ruby rug with ease as she wowed the crowd with her Barbie doll features in a daring white gown looking every inch the soon-to-be-bride.
Meanwhile forget the baby bump, and even the bling rings, Freo favourite Nat Fyfe upped the accessory stakes with a cane.
The injured Fremantle Brownlow favourite looked dapper as did all the footy players who all adhered to the strict black tie dress code administered a few years back by former chief Andrew Demetriou.

But it was all about the WAGs with colour, sequins and embellishment — not to mention a plunging neckline, a favourite theme this year.
Gary Ablett’s new fiance Jordan Papalia tried out some wedding dress white in a Sonia Cappellazzo gown styled by red carpet dynamo Lana Wilkinson.
Queen of the Brownlow Rebecca Judd took inspiration from none other than the Queen of Egypt Cleopatra.
Judd defied gravity in the J’Aton couture chartreuse coloured showstopper.
What a way to say “this is how its done” as the queen WAG retires this year.
So who will take her crown as the new Queen WAG?
Meanwhile Nadia Bartel showed off her latest accessory, the baby bump — and got the legs out — in a Paolo Sebastian hand-embroided gown.
But it was all about the bling rings this year — baby bumps are so passe — with a number of our WAGs soon to get hitched.
First to show off her bobby dazzler was Dayne Beams fiancee Kelly Meehan.
But it was Marc Murphy’s new fiancee Jesse (hot stuff) Habermann who has to be the most blinged out. All hail the new Brownlow queen.
