THE Brownlow after party at Crown was well attended with many girls, including Marc Murphy’s girlfriend Jessie Habermann who swapped things up with a costume change.
She slipped out of her $26,000 dress designed by Melbourne’s Oglia-Loro with intricate hand-detailing, into a little black number toparty the night away.
The party, at Shane Warne’s Club 23 but hosted by Crown Golden Ale, had a very strict guest list with wrist band only entry.
Things are much stricter these days, ever since the Brendan Fevola incidents that marred the after party in 2009.
AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan was quick to head to the bar for a drink after racing through the vote count.
Some of the Port Adelaide boys including Robbie Gray and Travis Boak were still going when the lights came on in the early hours.
Geelong held their own after party in the Den at the Atlantic with many players including Steve Johnson and Andrew Mackie coming to Crown after the count.
In other news, the Brownlow Medal was the highest rating show of the night in Melbourne.
According to OzTam, 582,000 tuned in to Channel 7 to see Bruce McAvaney host the coverage that saw Matt Priddis win.
The quick vote reading of new AFL boss McLachlan was also a hit.
