Bill Goldsmith keen to tap into Bachelor In Paradise, again

Reality television bad boy Bill Goldsmith wants another crack at Bachelor in Paradise, while ruling out a romance with another Bachelor alumni.

Bill Goldsmith is gunning for a second chance at Bachelor In Paradise.

The plumber was branded the bad boy of the last season and is hoping to have another crack at reality TV in a bid to change public opinion.

“I’m not going to bag out the show but I would say I’m not the bad guy I was portrayed as,” Goldsmith told Confidential. “For sure I would love to do the show again.”

Melbourne-based Goldsmith, 32, was caught out on Bachelor In Paradise when he appeared to go on a date with Florence Alexandra while already coupled with Alex Nation.

At least, that is what played out on television.

“There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that viewers don’t see,” he explained. “The thing that really got me is that Alex and I were the only legitimate couple to finish the season and they chose to still portray me in that drama rather than showing the one true love story that actually happened.”

Goldsmith and Nation split after returning to real life from the Bachelor mansion in Fiji.

He has continued to work as a plumber while also using his profile to talk about issues including mental health and cyber bullying.

“One of the best things that has come out of this has been being able to share my story and that of others,” he said. “When you look on Instagram, life often looks perfect but we are all dealing with our own battles.”

For the record, Goldsmith is very much single, although has recently been linked to another former Bachelor contestant Megan Marx.

“Absolutely not, we are not dating,” he said, having recently taken to social media to declare Marx as one of the people he trusts in life post show. “We are good friends though.”
