Benji and Zoe Marshall have asked fashion designer Steven Khalil to be their first child’s godfather

BENJI and Zoe Marshallaren’t expecting their first child until February but they already have a “fairy Godfather” locked in.

Zoe told us she has asked wedding dress designer Steven Khalilto fill the role.

“If it’s a girl she’ll be set for dresses for the rest of her life,” she said. “If it’s a boy we’ll work it out.” The Aussie couturier who last week launched his
first ever fragrance, Steven Khalil Eau de Parfum, said he thrilled.

“I said to Zoe ‘are you sure?’ Benji has lots of friends. I almost feel guilty, but it’s a beautiful honour.”

Khalil said it had been a long-held goal of his to launch a fragrance to add to the 200 he has at home.

“My house looks like David Jones,” he said.

“I always thought the crowing glory is a scent. I’ve always followed the footsteps of Chanel, Dior and YSL and their next step step was a fragrance.”
