Angie Kent has defended her use of Botox and fillers, saying she isn’t too young for cosmetic enhancements.

The 29-year-old has been getting regular procedures for the past four years, although she said she has not had any plastic surgery.

“They say it is a preventive,” Kent said. “I just love it … just a little bit. You don’t need it often, maybe once every year.”

Kent started having procedures while working as a nanny for a woman who ran a medispa.

“I haven’t had plastic surgery,” she said. “I have got real everything but I look after my skin so I get a little bit of tox (Botox) and cheeky fillers. There has been a lot of talk about me having lots of work, that is not true.

With the new season of The Bachelorette starting tonight, the reality star has put it all on the line in a candid chat for Confidential’s In Bed With JMo series.

Her wide-ranging interview covered everything from sex to online trolls and bullying.

“To me ignorance is bliss. I am quite happy in my little Angie world where the people who know and love me know and support me,” she said. “I don’t think I am going to be everyone’s cup of tea but opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one.”

Kent clarified recent comments where she described herself as a bogan, instead preferring to label herself a grub.

“I love to not wear shoes, I say whatever comes to my mind, I am just a grublet,” she said, adding when asked about passing wind in front of a prospective partner: “Everybody farts. In front of girlfriends, for suresies. I like to keep it non-party for as long as possible, you want to keep the romance alive.”

Kent will tonight face 21 admirers, one of whom is her brother Brent undercover, vying for her attention with the series set to run for the next few months. The show was filmed over the past few months so details are being kept under lock and key.

“I am very happy,” she said when asked if she is with the series winner still.

Pushed on whether or not she and her beau had taken their relationship to the next level, she added: “I am fine to be asked that question but a lady never reveals her secrets.”

Kent however did say she surprised herself by kissing more of the suitors than she expected.

“I just thought I wouldn’t be as in there, lets just say that,” she said. “As in kissing wise, I gave it a red hot go. I thought I would be a little more wait and see.”

The Bachelorette is Kent’s third go at reality TV, following stints on Gogglebox and I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!

While admitting she’d like to be on Dancing With The Stars, the Bachelorette will be her last foray into the genre for a while anyway.

“This is my first big reality and I am very happy with the three shows,” she said. “I would never say never but not any time soon.”
