Australian tour dates revealed for Childish Gambino

It is most likely our last chance to see Childish Gambino live.
Actor Donald Glover recently revealed he would be bringing his music persona to an end.
Now though, Aussie fans will be thrilled to hear the American super creative is bringing his The New World Tour Down Under.
Childish Gambino will kick off a run of Australia and New Zealand shows in Auckland on January 28, 2025 and will play Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on February 4.
Amaarae is on the bill to support. It is his first tour here since 2019.
The announcement comes hours after Glover dropped a surprise new Childish Gambino album, Atavista.
The 11-track offering includes the single Little Foot Big Foot with Young Nudy with the album released accompanied by a black and white music video directed by Hiro Murai.
It is Glover’s first album - his fifth overall - release as Childish Gambino since 3.15.20, which peaked at number 11 on the Australian ARIA Chart.
As an actor, Glover is best known for appearances including The Lion King, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Solo: A Star Wars Story. On TV, he’s starred in the likes of Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Atlanta.
Glover married partner of nine years, Michelle White, earlier this year.
