DESPITE waking up today as one of Australia’s most hated men, Survivor’s latest evictee Zach Kozyrski won’t be apologising any time soon.

The 39-year-old became the villain of the reality show this season after making comments about women that caused a backlash on social media and earnt him a “misogynistic sexist pig” label.

“Women carry on that they’re so strong, but we watch them unravel over a couple of words out of a man’s mouth,” Kozyrski told Perth journalist Krystal Sanders after his eviction in an explosive Tribal Council last night.

“It’s so hypocritical. The women talk about us and our bodies and that’s fine, but as soon as a man has a look at a woman, it’s like, ‘oh, that’s not fair, that’s not right’”.

The former Gladiator star dismissed the criticism as coming from a “minority” group.

“I’ve been watching these hypersensitive professional ‘victims’ unravelling online for the last couple of years.

“We are talking about a minority that just happen to have a very loud voice.

“People can’t express jokes at the moment. These people wouldn’t want to hang out with me and my mates for longer than five minutes … they are going to need therapy for the next 10 years.

“A lot of you don’t understand what misogynist means, because it means someone who hates women, and I love women.”

Kozyrski said “trolls” have been contacting his work trying to get him fired and messaging his children and his partner Katie Miller saying they should be ashamed of their father.

“For anyone to get that worked up over a character on a TV show is crazy, absolutely crazy,” he said.

“The problem isn’t with me, these people need therapy.”

Miller, Kozyrski’s partner of six years, is standing by her man, who helped her through her battle with anorexia.

“I could not eat, I had no appetite,” she said. “And no doctors or anyone could find what was wrong with me. I was so weak I couldn’t get out of a bath and he’d carry me.

“He taught me to harden up and honestly, it’s been the best thing for me.”
