Six weeks after giving birth to her fourth child, Aussie supermodel Miranda Kerr is back to work.
The 40-year-old is the first ever ambassador for Michael Hill jewellers, fronting its rebranding campaign to refresh the retailer’s offerings as it goes for a more elevated look.
“Six weeks post-partum, I just popped out another little boy,” Kerr told The Daily Telegraph on the phone from her Los Angeles home.
“He is amazing. He’s so sweet. It is crazy how you have four boys and they are all so different.
“It is almost a basketball team, I mean, we’ll be playing some kind of tournaments – there is going to be definitely never a dull moment around here.”
Kerr’s fourth child, Pierre, is the youngest sibling of Hart, Myles and Flynn.
“We are just so obsessed with our little bundle of joy, like it is hard to even put into words because he’s just so lovely,” she said.
“And the boys love him so much. My parents are here, of course – it’s been so great having their support, it’s just a really special time for us all just being here together.
“They come out and they’re such little angels, like little gifts from God so it’s a very special time.”
Kerr’s relationship with Michael Hill jewellers meanwhile started more than two decades ago, when, as a young model, she appeared in a catalogue for the brand.
“We all grew up with this brand and they supported me at the beginning of my modelling career. It is quite an honour,” she said.
“So for it to come full circle and for me to be ambassador for them, I just thought what a wonderful opportunity to work with a brand that I grew up with.”
Kerr was pregnant with Pierre when she shot the stills campaign images and commercial in Los Angeles.
As one of our biggest name modelling exports over the past few decades, Kerr hopes to get creative too.
“I love designing, that’s one of my favourite parts of my job,” she said.
“For so many other roles where I have been an ambassador, I have taken on the design aspect so I really hope they could lean into that because that’s something I love doing.”
Now though, Kerr and her family are happily “nesting” with newborn Pierre. While “never saying never”, she has all but ruled out having more children.
“Honestly, I feel like I am (done). I’m so content. It has been six weeks so we have a new little child and it is four boys. I really do feel super content and happy with my four boys but I never say never, we will see.”
