Australian celebrities have taken to social media to congratulate parents-to-be Sylvia Jeffreys and Peter Stefanovic after the couple announced they are expected their first child.

Sylvia Jeffreys and Peter Stefanovic’s celebrity friends have taken to social media to congratulate the TV couple on news they are expecting their first child together.
Jeffreys Instagram post announcing the news attracted more than 2400 comments, including a raft of top Australian TV stars.
“About as over the moon as we all are!!” The Sunday Project anchor Lisa Wilkinson wrote. “What a lucky lucky bub he is. Huge congrats to two of the best. Now the fun really begins!!!”
The Project’s Carrie Bickmore added: “So brilliant. What a lucky bub to have you two as parents.”
Jeffreys, 33, is now a reporter with A Current Affair while Stefanovic co-hosts Sky News First Edition after leaving Channel 9 at the end of last year.
Both shared the news that she is pregnant with a baby boy on Instagram.
“Soon to be a family of three and we are rapt! Good thing I’m already match fit with the whole no sleep thing,” Stefanovic, 37, wrote.
On her post, she wrote: “We’re having a baby boy and we’re totally over the moon!!”
Jeffreys and Stefanovic, the younger brother of former Today show host Karl Stefanovic, met through work and were married in April 2017 at a star-studded ceremony in Kangaroo Valley, south of Sydney.
