Arabella Del Busso claims 60 Minutes made her look fat in interview

She has been slammed since her 60 Minutes interview last week, but the biggest thing Josh Reynolds’ ex Arabella Del Busso has taken issue with is her appearance on the program. The former WAG said the Nine program altered the lighting and angles of the camera to make her face appear “fat”.

She was accused of faking pregnancies, miscarriages and cancers during her appearance on 60 Minutes, however Josh Reynold’s ex partner Arabella Del Busso’s biggest gripe following the paid tell all was how fat her head looked.

The 30-year-old has been on the receiving end of a stream of abuse following the exclusive interview with Tom Steinfort, with many branding her a compulsive liar.

However the accusation which hurt the most was claims she heavily photoshopped her social media images.

“I don’t look like that,” Del Busso, whose real name is Donna Preusker, told Sunday Confidential.

“I looked at 60 Minutes and how my face looked and I was mortified.

“The lighting they used, the angles they took. I thought, my goodness I do not look like that.

“Even when I was walking down the boulevard (during the segment), my face just does not look like that or look that fat.”

Del Busso claims she has barely ever used photoshop, only changing lighting slightly.

“I am copping a lot of criticism from people saying I don’t even look like my Instagram photos and that I am fake … I know in myself what I look like,” she said.

“People said I photoshopped my photo with Kyle Sandilands, but I haven’t.

“There’s the slightest bit of lighting, but that’s it. actually don’t photoshop my photos to the extent to what people think I do. I actually do look like my Instagram photos. There is a bit of lighting here and there. That’s all.”

Del Busso recently appeared on 60 Minutes where she was accused of faking multiple pregnancies and abortions while dating former NRL player Reynolds.

She said she regrets ever agreeing to the segment, in which she was reportedly paid a five figure sum.

“I regret doing 60 minutes,” she said.

“They did tell me that they were going to be fair, reasonable and sympathetic but they weren’t. That wasn’t the case at all.

“They chopped and changed and edited a lot … but there is not much I can do about that.

“I am annoyed by how I looked. I don’t know if you have seen my latest boxing’s video, my face is not as fat or as big as what it was on 60 minutes. They used lighting and it’s the angle they had me on. I don’t know what they did.”

Del Busso has since done interviews with Channel 9, Kyle and Jackie O and now Sunday Confidential.

However the 30-year-old insists she hates the attention.

“I really don’t like the publicity,” she said.

“I am a very private person so to have my whole life splattered everywhere is a little bit crazy.

“It is very overwhelming and it does take a toll mentally. I have been through a lot so I am hanging in there and holding my head up high and that’s the best I can do.

“I think for me it is one of those things you have to take the good with the bad. There are always going to be negative comments no matter what you do there is going to be bad publicity and bad criticism.

“It is out of my control what people say and think. I just have to be professional about it.

As for plans for the future, Del Busso hopes she can become a role model for young women in trouble.

“I get a lot of great feedback from women,” she said.

“It’s so nice to know I am inspiring people. A lot of women are saying how proud they are of me and how strong I have been.

“I want to be a role model. I want to go down that path.”
