Angie Kent has sparked romance rumours with Big Brother star Jess Trend.

Kent, of Gogglebox, Space Invaders and Bachelorette fame, has been seeing someone since November but told the Confidential on Nova radio show the relationship is not yet official.

“No party pashes, only from the person I am seeing,” Kent said of enjoying Mardi Gras and World Pride celebrations.

“We are not exclusive, we have been dating since probably November. We’ve been getting to know each other, it has been fab. We have spent a lot of time together across states but no, I am a single gal for now. We will see what the future has in store.”

Kent shared a number of images to social media featuring Trend and other friends over the weekend.

Trend is based in Melbourne while Kent lives on the Gold Coast hinterland.

In October, 2021, the Nova radio presenter and Two Girls One Pod podcaster revealed she identified as pansexual, meaning she is attracted to a person regardless of their gender.

At the time, she told Confidential: “Humans are humans, I don’t fall in love with the outer, I fall in love with the soul connection. I don’t care what you are, as long as we connect. Gender is not a massive thing for me and never really has been. I have always dated dudes because it was expected of me. I have always been pansexual but I’ve never really spoken about it, only to my friends. I probably needed that time and the heartbreak to realise I wanted to explore it more. If I did it again, I would want that option. Everything happens for a reason.”

Kent appeared on the fifth season of The Bachelorette in 2019. AFLW player Trend meanwhile was a contestant on the 2021 season of Big Brother Australia.

This week, while she would not identify Trend specifically, Kent said she does see a future with the person she has been seeing.

“Yeah I do,” she said. “We will see what happens.”
