Taylor Swift made the wish of one young girl come true when she gave away her hat she wears while performing the song 22.
The fan she gave the hat to on Friday night belonged to a 9-year-old from Perth named Scarlett who had been diagnosed with brain cancer and it was her wish to meet Swift.
The superstar knelt down and embraced Scarlett who, according to her stepmother Natalie Chadwick, has only 12 to 18 months to live.
“Scarlett was granted a ‘Wish’ from the Make A Wish Foundation and her wish was to meet Taylor Swift,” she wrote.

“Unfortunately, they told us this wasn’t possible so through the power of social media and some generous people we made attending the concert happen and got tickets.”
She shared a picture of Scarlett with a poster that read: “Taylor can I have the 22 hat please?”
And later that night Scarlett was called up to meet Swift in one of the night’s most touching moments.
