IT’s the other great love story from the royal wedding – the new friendship between Queen Elizabeth and Guy, Meghan’s rescue dog.
Guy is believed to be the dog spotted riding along with the Queen in a Range Rover when she drove to Windsor Castle last week ahead of the royal wedding.
The beagle moved from Canada with Meghan when she relocated to London’s Kensington Palace last year and it appears he has become firm friends with the dog-loving Queen.

It’s quite the rags-to-riches tale for Guy, who was on death row at a dog shelter in Kentucky in the United States after being handed in, and unable to find a new owner.
A woman called Dolores Doherty, who runs a beagle charity in Canada, rescued him and in 2015 took him along to an adoption event outside Toronto where Meghan was living while she filmed Suits.
Meghan adopted him, moving him into her trendy apartment with fellow rescue dog Bogart, who had to remain behind in the US when she moved to London due to his old age.
Meghan and the Queen share a fondness for dogs, something Prince Harry spoke about at their engagement interview last December, as he ruefully noted the Queen’s famous corgis much preferred Meghan to him.
“For 33 years, (I’ve been) barked at, and this one walks in, and absolutely nothing, just wagging tails,” he said.
