Olivia Rogers is selling up but going nowhere except making her mark over the next week at Flemington.
The former Miss Universe Australia has put the Glen Iris house she shared with ex-husband Justin McKeone on the market and moved out this week.
She will attend all four days of the Melbourne Cup Carnival, starting with Saturday’s Penfolds Derby Day, with all her looks to be styled by close friend, Paul Versace from Styled by Bloom.
“I’m excited, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel a bit nervous,’’ Rogers said.
“But it’s excited butterflies because it’s nice to have the old atmosphere back.
“Paul can spot an outfit for me a mile away and always makes me feel my very best.
“I’m going back to Adelaide for Christmas and it’ll be very different to what I had envisaged but it’s the chapter of me and Paul, we’re like Will and Grace. Melbourne is home for me now and I’ll be sticking around.”
Versace said Rogers had been having many ‘moments’ over the past few weeks after announcing her separation at the start of October.
“There’s no better place to be a single girl right now than Melbourne,’’ he said.
“For the races we’re doing a different vibe every day. Bright, bold and colourful.
“You can tell a story through the whole week.
“We’re also such good friends and I love being able to showcase her personality because she’s ‘the moment’.”
