Nicole Appleton granted divorce from Liam Gallagher in just 68 seconds after he fathered love child with US journalist

IT took a judge just 68 seconds to grant Nicole Appleton a divorce from former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher.

SINGER Nicole Appleton was granted a quickie divorce from rocker husband Liam Gallagher in just 68 seconds after he admitted fathering a love child with a US journalist.

In court papers Appleton said Gallagher “admitted adultery to me prior to it becoming publicised in national newspapers”.

She said the woman whom he committed adultery with “now has a child” by him, and she found it “intolerable” to live with him.

According to The Daily Mail, Appleton said she had not lived with Gallagher since he admitted the adultery last July.

And in a statement on the divorce petition, Gallagher replied “yes” to the question of whether he admitted adultery, adding he did not intend to defend his wife’s claims and would pay her “reasonable” court costs.

The couple married in London in February 2008 after eight years of dating, and Appleton was said to be devastated when Gallagher ended their relationship after five years of marriage. Gallagher was said to have an affair with journalist Liza Ghorbani after she interviewed him for The New York Times in 2010.

Ghorbani later filed a 2 million pound ($3.5 million) lawsuit for child support after she claimed to have given birth to his daughter, Gemma, in January 2013.

Liam also has a 14-year-old son, Lennon, with ex-wife Patsy Kensit, and a 15-year-old daughter, Molly, with singer Lisa Moorish.

Gallagher is now said to be in a relationship with his assistant, Debbie Gwyther, and the couple are said to be living in a London home five minutes from the house Appleton stills lives in with their 12-year-old son, Gene.

Meanwhile, Appleton is currently planning a comeback with her band All Saints — who were together from 1993-2001.
