As fans wait patiently for one final return to Westeros and Winterfell, US network HBO has decided to ease the pain for Game of Thrones devotees by releasing a selection of brand spanking new photos ahead of the show’s April 15 premiere.
But what do these new pics tell us about well, anything, really?
A video released last month showed the three power players — Sansa (Sophie Turner), Dany (Emilia Clarke) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) — in Winterfell, where many have gathered to fight the Army of the Dead.
But if you just can’t wait and want a recap, the first seven seasons of Game of Thrones are available to view on demand on Foxtel Now.
In what has been billed as the television event of the decade, the first episode of Season 8 will stream in Australia express from the US on Monday April 15 at 11am AEDT on Foxtel.
