US rapper Drake made one pregnant fan’s wildest dreams come true during his show in Sydney this week.
Tiana Henderson was in the mosh pit at Qudos Bank Arena, holding up a sign announcing she was 20 weeks pregnant and calling for the star to be her “rich baby daddy”, when he spotted her among the thousands of concertgoers and reacted swiftly.
“Who is the girl that says she pregnant in the pit?” Drake, who is currently in the midst of his The Anita Max Win Tour, asked in footage of the encounter shared on X.
“Get your a** out of the pit. Are you 20 weeks pregnant? Get out of there, get that baby out of the pit ASAP.”
He then turned to security and demanded they “get her some VIP tickets immediately and like $30,000”, before expressing his shock at the situation: “What the f**k is wrong with y’all?”
Ms Henderson took to Instagram the following day to share an album with footage and pictures of the unforgettable moment, and confirming she’d made it in to the VIP section.
“I have not received the money yet — not even sure if I will. But will hands down be the best experience EVER,” she captioned it, adding that her child’s name would honour the rapper.
“Best believe our daughter’s name will have some resemblance to Drake.”
Meanwhile, there was plenty of reaction to the footage shared online, with many praising Drake for his generous act – and also pointing out that being pregnant in a mosh pit might not be the best decision.
“Drake’s the man of the people. It was dope to be there in person,” one fan wrote.
Another added: “My goat will always give you money. Love him for that”.
“Who the f**k brings a baby in the mosh pit?” asked another, with one writing: “He’s not wrong … mosh pits be going crazy sometimes”.
It’s not the first time Drake has handed out huge wads of cash to fans at his show.
In Melbourne last week, he gave $25,000 to a woman in the crowd, who was holding a sign which read “Adonis for President,” referencing Drake’s seven-year-old son.
“You’re showing a lot of love to my son, so on behalf of me and Adonis, we’re going to give you 25 grand,” he told her from the stage.
