Beloved noughties singer-songwriter Anastacia is heading back to Australia for the first time in over a decade.
The American star has added stops in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane to her Not That Kind 25 world tour, which is in honour of the 25th anniversary of the album – and debut hit single I’m Outta Love – that catapulted her to fame in 2000.
The Aussie leg of her tour will begin with a show at The Forum in Melbourne on September 24, before heading to the Coliseum Theatre in Western Sydney on September 26, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on September 27, and finishing up at Brisbane’s Eatons Hill Hotel on September 29.
“l am so excited to be coming to Australia! This is such a fun tour, celebrating 25 years and l can’t wait to share the show over there with you guys,” Anastacia said in a statement following the announcement.
“It’s a night of true nostalgia. Get ready to sing! Bring on the NTK25 Australia party.”
As well as I’m Outta Love, which hit number one and was one of the most successful songs of 2000 in Australia, the powerhouse performer is known for hits such as Paid My Dues and Left Outside Alone.
In 2023, she released her eighth studio album, “Our Songs”.
Anastacia has sold over 30 million records and received countless accolades, including #1 hits in 19 countries and more than 225 awards throughout her career.
The Not That Kind 25 pre-sale begins via TEG Live on Friday, 28th March at midday, with general public sales kicking off on Monday, 31st March at 1pm.
