Sabrina Carpenter just exacted the perfect revenge for a fan who dared to question her on social media just a few short weeks ago.

Sabrina Carpenter had the perfect response towards a Twitter troll who suggested she wouldn’t achieve any success with her smash hit Please, Please, Please.

When Carpenter was flying high in the charts with her single Espresso, many were quick to judge when she chose Please Please Please as the follow-up to arguably the song of the summer around the world, or winter if you’re Aussies like us.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone fumble a second single this hard. My goodness,” read the critique posted by a fan on Twitter last month.

However, with news that the song had become Carpenter’s first number one single in North America, the pop starlet was quick to take to Instagram to celebrate the success and call out the fan who tweeted by name.

Carpenter shared an Instagram post celebrating, and included a screenshot of the tweet that had suggested she had a flop single on her hands, and made sure to keep the fan’s name in just to be extra vengeful.

She also commented: “MY FIRST #1 on the @billboard HOT 100!!!!!!! And espresso at #4. I’m very immensely grateful so i will surely always remember this day for the rest of my life!”

“Thank you everyone who’s listened and made it so much fun to have these songs out in the world. more to come soon,” she added.

The critic quickly admitted he was wrong posting “Congrats Diva! Made me eat my words!”.

It comes after video footage emerged showing Sabrina Carpenter’s security guard aggressively pushing fans out of the way, knocking down a photographer in the process.

The entourage had just arrived in London at BBC Radio 1 studios on Tuesday, and the aggressive barrage unfolded in front of the building, just as Carpenter was trying to make her way inside.

In the viral clip, which has been shared hundreds of thousands of times on social media, the security team appears to shove people around, while yelling for them to stay back.

As he cleared a path for the pop star, the singer’s security guard could be seen laying his hands on a photographer and other people in the crowd as he shoved them hard, effectively removing them.

Another of Carpenter’s team followed close behind holding an umbrella that was opened, seemingly not realising they were knocking the sharp ends of it into those stood to the side as they barged through the crowd.

Fans rushed to social media to comment on the raucous, with many labelling the star’s team unnecessarily aggressive.

“It looks like maybe there were some over aggressive paps and her security was doing there job. unfortunately that poor guy who wasn’t the problem got hit with an umbrella,” commented one.

“The pushing is bad enough, but an umbrella getting open in your face like that is so …” wrote a second, while a third said: “Damn her bodyguard came out the gate swinging, ouch!”
