PARIS Hilton lived up to her party girl reputation with a two hour DJ set at Marquee on Saturday night.
The American reality star and socialite was fashionably late, taking to the decks at about 1.20am Sunday morning.
Hilton played an eclectic mix of tracks, starting her set with Calvin Harris hit How Deep Is Your Love and playing everything from Red Hot Chili Peppers to CoCo by O.T. Genesis.
She was a drawcard for other local celebrities, among them in the crowd Ian Thorpe, Josh Gibson and Jordan Barrett.
“Last night was lit AF,” she wrote on Instagram. “I love you #Sydney #Australia”.
Hilton flew to Brisbane last night, where she was to play another club gig. She flew in to Melbourne last Thursday.
“I love that I can be a role model, an inspiration to other young business women who want to make a name, or a brand or an empire of their own,’’ the 35-year-old said.
“I am very into women empowerment — girl power. I really respect and admire women who want to make a name for themselves (and) build their own businesses and not depend on a man. I have always wanted to make a name for myself and I love being an independent woman and being successful.’’
