Dancer’s nasty fall off BRIT Awards stage

WELL, this is even more awkward than Left Shark. Two years after Madonna’s tumble off the BRIT Awards stage, another performer has faceplanted.

CAN we declare the BRIT Awards stage officially cursed?

Two years after Madonna started her BRITs performance by tumbling backwards down a flight of stairs, one unlucky back-up dancer has been captured on camera taking a nasty fall off the stage at the British music industry’s biggest night.

The painful faceplant happened during one of the night’s biggest performances, Katy Perry’s rendition of her new single Chained to the Rhythm — a song currently being kept from the top of the charts by her pop rival Ed Sheeran, much to her chagrin.

Pity the poor back-up dancer, dressed as a house, presumably with little to no vision of whereabouts they’re headed on stage, taking one step too many and landing smack-bang in front of a full table of audience members:

Ooooooh, that’s gotta hurt. Madonna: The curse has been lifted.
