Country singer Luke Bryan punches a heckler at one of his concerts

AMERICAN singer Luke Bryan was taunted by a fan until he reached the absolute end of his tether and snapped.

AMERICAN country star Luke Bryan was heckled by a fan until he was at his wit’s end and ended up punching the man with his microphone.

Most country music fans would relish the opportunity to get so up close and personal with the singer — just maybe with a little less physical contact.

The country singer was in Nashville for a charity concert which donates a portion of its proceeds to US veterans.

The man in the crowd was reportedly making rude hand gestures at Bryan for a number of songs and wasn’t the only audience member looking to get a rise from the 40-year-old singer.

Another attendee was holding a sign that read, “We can see your camel toe” in reference to Bryan’s famously tight pants.

Bryan seen smiling after his performance at the Country Music Awards in early November was heckler free.

A statement from the singer’s camp confirmed the multiple heckling reports: “A man in [the] front row was making crude hand gestures toward Luke during his performance.”

Bryan’s team also said it was insulting not only to the singer but the audience members who had come to the concert to celebrate the event’s effort for raising awareness and money for US veterans.

Right before the microphone strike occurred, the Move singer was seen beckoning and telling the heckler to come closer.

When the man was leaning close enough towards the stage, Bryan made his move, holding the microphone in his right hand and slapping him across the face.

Straight after the altercation, he continued performing and security were quick to escort the disruptive ‘fan’ out of the concert.

The singer is one of America’s most successful country music artists having sold more than seven million albums worldwide and has had 15 consecutive No.1 singles on the country music charts.

Bryan’s microphone hit comes a week after Justin Bieber punched a fan in Barcelona on November 22.

Video footage showed the young Spanish fan attempting to touch Bieber through a car window and the 22-year old singer responding with a quick jab to the face. The Spanish fan looked to the camera in shock touching his bleeding lip.
