According to Mail Online, JB Hi-Fi, Australia’s largest music-selling chain, has since begun stripping the shelves of Swift CDs and merchandise.

The chain has found itself victim to thieves determined to walk out of the store with handfuls of Swift swag without paying.

The problem has become so bad for the chain since Swift brought her tour to Australia that it’s now leaving signs in stores telling customers that anything Swift-related will no longer be on shelves and instead is now being sold behind the counter.

One JB Hi-Fi store in Sydney’s Pitt St Mall has an empty space where Swift CDs and merchandise used to be, with multiple signs telling customers that the items are only available behind the counter.

“Taylor Swift CDs are kept behind the counter. Temporary. Please ask a member of staff for assistance,” reads one sign.

Meanwhile, it seems Swift’s gruelling tour schedule is beginning to have an impact on the star.

Footage has emerged of Swift struggling with a cough onstage while performing in Singapore.

In a video shared on TikTok, the 34-year-old was seen repeatedly coughing and clearing her throat as she sang her hit song Delicate for her screaming fans at the city’s National Stadium, which holds 55,000 people at capacity.

“Hope she’s okay. she’s been coughing,” the TikTok user captioned the clip.

“I was there and so worried about Taylor,” a fan commented on the video, while another wrote, “Oh she needs some rest.”

“I bet it has more to do with the drastic weather changes in different regions,” one remarked, with another writing, “I can only imagine how exhausting it must be while on tour.”

During the Aussie leg of her massive tour, it was reported that fan meet-and-greets were strictly off the table to limit Swift’s exposure to potential illnesses.

“When Taylor is on tour, strict measures are put into place to stop her interacting with anyone outside of her ‘bubble’. They cannot risk her getting sick under any circumstances,” a source told Yahoo Lifestyle.
