New photos from the Australian set of the highly anticipated Sydney Sweeney movie have emerged – and it looks like we’re in for a treat.
The Euphoria actress, 25, stars in the as-yet-titled, R-rated rom-com, which also features Aussie acting royalty Rachel Griffiths and Bryan Brown, who were all spotted filming a wedding scene at Marks Park in the Sydney suburb of Tamarama on Wednesday.
In the photos, Sweeney and her onscreen love interest, Top Gun: Maverick actor Glen Powell, were dressed as bride and groom as Griffiths, Brown and their co-star, Dermot Mulroney, looked on.
The Hollywood stars began filming on our shores last month and have filmed all over Sydney, including in Surry Hills, Double Bay and Pittwater on the Northern Beaches.
The plot for the upcoming movie has been kept under wraps, but Easy A and Friends With Benefits filmmaker Will Gluck will be at the helm with Sweeney also acting as executive producer through her production company, Fifty-Fifty Films.

However, it hasn’t been all work, no play for Sweeney and co.
This past long weekend, Sweeney, Powell, Mulroney and some other cast and crew enjoyed the sights of Sydney on a double-decker tour bus - in torrential rain.
“Sometimes things are more fun in the rain :),” the White Lotus actress captioned a series of Instagram photos and video of them on the sightseeing tour.
In the happy snaps, the mob is seen wearing pink ponchos while visiting landmarks such as St Mary’s Cathedral, the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, where Aussie co-star Joe Davidson joked about “Sydney” being in Sydney.
Fellow co-star Darren Barnet also shared some photos of their adventure – which also included a stop at Luna Park – on his Instagram page, to which Sweeney commented: “don’t want this to end!”
