Paris Hilton’s Christmas song fail with North West goes viral

Celebrities have taken to social media to share some of their Christmas mishaps, including Paris Hilton’s cringe-worthy festive tune with her mother and Kim Kardashian’s daughter North.

Hugh Jackman landed himself in hot water after he broke a major Christmas rule in New York.

The Australian star, who recently announced his separation from wife of 27 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, took a time-honoured trip on Christmas morning to go and see Rockefeller Centre’s iconic Christmas tree.

However, Jackman’s Christmas excursion didn’t quite end up going as planned, and the star found himself in trouble with one of the building’s security guards.

It turns out Jackman broke the rules and decided to get closer to the tree than he should’ve, slipping through the barriers to get a better look.

The security guard was no fan of Wolverine, it seems, and was quick to tell the star off.

“I highly recommend getting up really early on Christmas morning and taking a walk to see the Rockefeller Christmas tree,” Jackman wrote via Instagram.

“It’s so beautiful and not crowded at all. I did get in trouble for going beyond the barrier but the security guard was nice and let me go with just a warning.”

Fans rushed to comment on Instagram, with one replying: “Does the security guard not know you are Wolverine? Does he not know what you are capable of?” while another labelled the actor “naughty” for breaking the rules.

This Christmas marked Jackman’s first festive season in decades as a single man following his shock split from Furness.

Despite their break-up, Jackman appeared to be in good spirits in the video he shared on social media, regularly flashing that famous grin at the camera.

It marked a change from a recent post that sparked concern among fans after the actor shared pictures of himself appearing dejected.

Jackman and Furness stunned fans when they announced they were divorcing in September.

“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth,” the couple said in a statement.

“Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition.”

The couple, who have two children, were together for decades after having married in 1996 after meeting on the set of Australian drama, Correlli, the year before.

It comes as another celebrity Christmas fail video has gone viral.

Paris Hilton filmed a selfie-style video with her mother, Kathleen, and North West, where the three of them wished TikTokers a Merry Christmas.

Things took a awkward turn when Kathleen started dancing in the background and singing: “Little Northy, we love you. A merry, what is it? Sing?”.

At which point the 10-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West can be seen shrugging her shoulders.

Kathleen continued to prompt North to join in singing: “A very special what?”, and North smiles as she responds with “Christmas”.

Paris chimes in “Mum your beyond … my mum has never done a TikTok, so she has no idea what she’s doing”.

In the background, Kathleen continues with some new lyrics: “Little North West she’s the best. This kid, she’s a Princess”.

TikTok users lapped it up, saying it has “meme potential”.

“I’m glad North is getting some normal kid embarrassment,” wrote one person.

While another said: “Bro Kathy is hella cringe”.
