The long-awaited trailer for the Barbie movie — starring Australia’s Margot Robbie — has dropped. Watch the video.

Australian actress Margot Robbie looks stunning as Barbie in the first official trailer of the highly anticipated movie.

Fans got a glimpse into the colourful world of Barbie on Wednesday with the release of the first official trailer – including her wonderful wardrobe, platinum blonde hair and seemingly endless partying.

It opens with a scene of Barbie walking in fluffy pink stilettos, before cutting to a beach party where Robbie waves and says “Hi Ken”, who is played by Ryan Gosling.

Judging by the trailer, the movie looks set to pack in a fair bit of humour.

Greta Gerwig’s movie, which features an all-star cast including Will Farrell and America Ferrera and Helen Mirren, is set to hit cinemas on July 21.
