The first teaser for hit reality television singing show Masked Singer has been released and fans are already clamouring to figure out who the voice is behind the Kangaroo mask.
Singing “Australia’s national anthem”, John Farnham’s You’re The Voice, the aptly titled “Bouncer” had the judges and the crowd off their feet from the get-go.
Trying to guess the singer inside the costume is all part of the fun, with guesses on social media including musician Darren Hayes, singer Mitch Tambo, Olympian Matthew Mitcham, country singer Keith Urban, reality star Peter Andre (although that one seemed a bit tongue-in-cheek), LeAnn Rimes (definitely a tongue-in-cheek guess) and comedian Sam Pang (another tongue-in-cheek that Sam himself would likely appreciate).
Most people seem to think it is Aussie singer Conrad Sewell belting out the tunes, with some so convinced it is him that they’re saying it is the “worst secret ever”.
The Masked Singer Australia is hosted by Osher Günsberg and this year’s judges are Chrissie Swan, Dave Hughes, Abbie Chatfield and Mel B.

The Masked Singer Australia is coming soon to Channel 10 and 10 Play.
