Bob Rogers is not in care and remains at the family home, a family member has assured friends and fans.
The update follows a report published here on Sunday stating the 96-year-old had been admitted to a care facility.
That is not the case, his daughter assured this column last night.
Rogers continues to live at his longtime Mosman home with his devoted wife of 73 years, Jerry.
The radio legend remains mentally agile and still enjoys doing the crossword and playing Scrabble.
He is also the subject of a new documentary recording a remarkable career that began during WWII.
Rogers’ mobility however continues to decline, as might be expected at 96.
Rogers’s retirement from 2CH three years ago followed a minor stroke that slowed him down.
