Cancel culture whingers and their special brand of faux anger strikes again.
Lara Worthington has deleted an image from her social media page after being accused by a few keyboard warriors of “fat shaming”.
The 36-year-old mother-of-two uploaded a series of images showing the pint-sized model wearing an oversized pair of pants.
But the attempt by Worthington and her usually on-point stylist Vanessa Coyle to be artistic clearly fell flat with a few of her followers.
“She is smiling, this doesn’t appear to be funny, more very inappropriate. Bad choice by her no matter which way you look at it,” wrote Issynoeverything.
Others claimed she was being “insensitive” to people with larger bodies.
Tonelouise asked: “Are you ridiculing fat people?” Follower return2zehnder wondered whether the image was a “New Subway ad?”; while thelimbo wrote what many others did, which was: “Unfollow”.
However many of Worthington’s friends and fans were claiming “the world has gone mad”.
“Seriously, that was the most unoffensive image,” one unnamed source said.
“I am not sure what the point of the image was, but there is nothing wrong with that photo.” The once-controversial Worthington spent a lot of time in the limelight following a tumultuous few years involving a number of scandals.
However in recent years, she has virtually disappeared from the radar, having opted for a quiet life and limited social media.
