Kyle Sandilands and Imogen Anthony’s new $3 million home

KYLE Sandilands’ new home in the NSW Southern Highlands looks like it’s a pricey retro fixer-upper.

Kyle and Imogen expected to go head to head on Family Feud

FOR THE average Aussie, a year’s salary would barely cover the deposit and fees for a new home.

But Kyle Sandilands is not your average Aussie.

In 2017, the radio shock jock revealed that he earns more than $3 million from his KIIS FM gig — and, now, he, and girlfriend Imogen Anthony, have spent just less than that on a 61ha farm in the NSW town of Robertson, which was sold to them by RJ Mackey Real Estate.

The property — which set the couple back a whopping $2,982,500 — marks a major leap in their relationship and Anthony was quick to hint that their next step would be children.

“Last week was a big week for us as we finally got the keys to our first dream property together down on the Southern Highlands,” she wrote online.

“We are now the proud owners of over 150 acres of prime land for our animals future animals and potential little human animals.

“This has been a long time coming for us and we are so happy and excited to finally call something so large our own.”

The property is known to locals as Twin Creeks — because two natural spring creeks meet there — but Anthony has nicknamed it (presumedly because of the red roof) Crimson Peak.

It’s no wonder Anthony and Sandilands needed to buy a large property, with the pair’s animal family growing in recent months.

Most notably, Sandilands extraordinary gift to Anthony of a pony and camel for Christmas.

“Kyle surprised me early this Christmas when we arrived at my family’s farm with this beautiful female rescue camel and her compulsory +1 mini pony,” Anthony wrote online.

“It doesn’t look like it here but apparently they’ve been inseparable buddies for almost five years, and who could be the one to ruin that? To think they were going to be sent away to be made into dog food.

“I’m sure they’ll fit in our animal family just fine.”

Sandilands and Anthony bought the property from outdoor-lovers Ben and Krisane Bunda.

The Bundas are best known for their jewellery business — which sold James Packer the $5m-plus engagement ring he proposed to Mariah Carey in 2016 with.

The engagement would only last 10 months.

“This is a very special ring, as a 35-carat diamond is incredibly rare,” Mr Bunda said at the time.

“There is a very small production of significant size rough diamonds mined globally each year ... so the rarity of such a large stone adds to value.”

Krisane, an avid horse-lover, also ran Taballa from the Robertson property — an equine agistment facility.

The couple had bought the property in 2015 for $1.035 million, according to Core Logic data.

The property comes complete with 16 fenced paddocks, a four bay garage with machinery shed and a hay storage shed.

It was sold through RJ Mackey Real Estate.
