Two years after having her heart broken, Julie Bishop has seemingly confirmed she is in love once again.

Former Australian politician Julie Bishop has been spotted all loved up at Sydney Airport.

Bishop, 68 was spotted engaging in some harmless PDA with the man rumoured to be her new boyfriend, Stephen Gray, at the airport on Friday.

While there’s been speculation about the status of their relationship, the images have been interpreted as confirmation they are an item.

The couple, who are believed to have been seeing one another for a year, shared a passionate kiss as they stood near the Qantas desk with their luggage.

Ms Bishop, who was Australia’s foreign minister from 2013 to 2018, looked stylish as always in a black and gold Camilla double-breasted blazer that retails for $1300.

Her boyfriend went for a much more casual look in a durable Canada goose vest.

Speculation as to who Ms Bishop’s mystery man began last year when she ‘soft launched’ him on Instagram in July 2023.

Then, earlier this year they travelled to South Australia for a “fabulous Outback adventure”, according to Bishop’s social media page.

In a video shared to her Instagram page, Ms Bishop put together a series of images and video clips from their holiday and tagged Mr Gray.

The launch of Mr Gray comes two years after her ex-partner Panton reportedly dumped the respected former politician over dinner in Sydney.

They dated for eight years and he was her plus one at a number of events, including to the United Nations, Buckingham Palace and the White House.

He also sat side-by-side with Bishop at all of Sydney’s top social events.
