Jesinta Franklin recreates Carrie Bradshaw’s look in Pitt St Mall

Model mum Jesinta Franklin sees a little of herself in all the Sex and the City characters, and urges fans to head to Pitt St Mall for a once-in-a-lifetime photo op.

Model mum Jesinta Franklin sees a little of herself in all four Sex and the City characters.

She identifies with Samantha’s ­unapologetic personality, the fact ­Carrie wears her heart on her sleeve and is a hopeless romantic, Charlotte’s sensibility, and Miranda’s devotion to her career.

“It’s so great to see strong empowering women who are successful in their own ways,” Franklin told The Saturday Telegraph.

“I really resonate with all four of the Sex and the City characters.

“If I had to narrow down, I think I am a bit like Carrie and Charlotte, who is loyal and likes to follow the rules. Everyone who knows me well knows that I am very much like that.”

Dressed in the same Norma Kamali dress Bradshaw wears in the new Sex and the City series, And Just Like That …, and iconic Manolo Blahnik shoes, Franklin was photographed in front of the fashionista’s famous New York apartment, which has been recreated in Pitt Street Mall by streaming service Binge.

“It is amazing down here,” Franklin said. “You cannot get a photo on the stoop in New York because it is blocked off after it became so popular, so this is really the only opportunity you have to get a photo with it.

“It looks like it is real life. It looks like you are really sitting on Carrie’s stoop in New York.

“It would be so much fun to come down with your girlfriends and actually dress up.”

Fans can get a pic on Carrie Bradshaw’s famous NYC apartment stoop in Pitt Street Mall all weekend.
