Married At First Sight groom Jackson Lonie looks set to finally stand up to his ‘villain’ wife in an explosive teaser ahead of vow renewals.

MAFS groom Jackson Lonie was largely silent while his TV wife Olivia Frazer caused mayhem over the past few weeks of the experiment.

But it seems the 30-year-old plumber is finally about to put the 28-year-old teaching student in her place during vow renewals, which air Monday and Tuesday nights.

A beaming Olivia is seen telling Jackson she has fallen in love with him, while on a more serious note, he tells her he has to be “brutally honest” with her.

“I don’t ever want to be in a situation where I have the choose between you and a friend,” he says, as a voiceover further teases: “The decision that will shock a nation.”

The revelation from Jackson comes after the pair’s final date aired Wednesday, when Jackson asked Olivia how she would manage potential conflict with his friends – given her track record of holding grudges and subsequent nasty spats with fellow bride Domenica Calarco.

Not doing a whole lot to ease Jackson’s concerns, Olivia said she simply wouldn’t go near them.

Elsewhere in the teaser for the vow renewals, we see Ella Ding tell Mitch Eynaud he “isn’t ready for the level of commitment” she’s searching for, while Selina Chhaur tells Cody Bromley she’s “never had to question time after time if a partner was into me until I met you.”

Meanwhile, Domenica tells ‘husband’ Jack Millar “it’s no secret we have struggled”, while he says she’s made the experiment “the most incredible experience of my life.”

But the most explosive moment looks to be reserved for on-again-off-again couple Tamara Djordjevic and Brent Vitiello.

Brent absolutely savages Tamara, who was repeatedly belittled his job “waiting tables”, telling her: “You are not God’s gift to humanity so stop looking down on everyone.”

And Tamara appears to return serve, informing Brent she immediately felt “homesick” since meeting him.
