The fashionable, fabulous and frocks were on show as Glamour on the Grid revved up the Australian Grand Prix.
American beauty Morgan Riddle, the partner of tennis ace Taylor Fritz, landed in Melbourne with three hours to spare, rushing straight to her fitting.
“I’m OK and slept on the plane,” she said.
“Rachel Gilbert pulled it together last minute and I love the green.
“When I was here for the tennis I heard so much about the Grand Prix and my whole thing now is sports and fashion and this is the biggest event.
“I’m going to go to all the race days and shoot fashion content. I’m excited to be back in Melbourne.”
First to arrive were ambassadors Annalise Dalins and Josh Daicos, resplendent in red Oglia-Loro Couture and black tie by Dyonsu styled by Paul Versace.
“I wore red to the Taylor Swift concert so I thought I’d keep that going,” Dalins said.
“It’s been a fun week so far and it’s such a fun event seeing fashion and sport come together.”
Daicos and teammate, Scott Pendlebury, said they were both staying for a short time with a game ahead on Thursday night.
Pendlebury, with wife Alex, said he’d be there for 45 minutes.
Ellie Gonsalves, stunning in Oglia-Loro Couture, flew in for the event as an ambassador for Idle Hour Vodka.
Racing royalty Michelle Payne went with daring and stunning blue tulle by Jason Grech, while WAG Jessie Murphy, in two-piece white, said it was a truly international event.
“Since we’ve started coming 10 years ago, it’s got bigger and bigger,” Murphy said.
“It’s one of the biggest GPs in the world. All the internationals come, it brings so much to Melbourne and there’s so much for families to do.”
Glamour on the Grid has become the hottest red carpet of the year with more than 800 VIP guests on pit lane.
