Designer Pip Edwards and new man Lachlan Thompson in Noosa

Twelve months after being dragged into a very public fight between her ex Michael Clarke and his girlfriend in Noosa, designer Pip Edwards has flaunted her new love in the same tourist hotspot.

You might think Pip Edwards would want to steer clear of Noosa after being dragged into Michael Clarke and Jade Yarbrough’s fight there — but the designer chose that town to reveal her new boyfriend.

The Sunday Telegraph can reveal the P.E Nation designer, 43, is dating former Scotch College student Lachlan Thompson, with the pair spotted enjoying a romantic summer getaway on Saturday.

It is a new romance, however the pair are believed to be pretty smitten with one another.

Images taken on Saturday show Edwards and Thompson — believed to be the CEO of property development company Goldfields — strolling around Noosa, chatting, smiling and enjoying lunch together.

Edwards is showing her fashion prowess in denim bermuda shorts, a white shirt, Balenciaga sunglasses, Valentino flats and a crochet Prada bag.

Noosa is where Edwards’ ex-boyfriend Michael Clarke and his girlfriend Jade Yarbrough got into a heated fight earlier this year.

At the time, Edwards said: “It is definitely not my circus and I would like to say the carnival is over.”

Edwards’ most public relationship was with cricket star Clarke, 42.

They dated from June 2020 to December 2021, but their names were again linked together at the end of last year when his new girlfriend Yarbrough accused Clarke of cheating on her with Edwards.

Extraordinary footage emerged in January of a heated exchange between the pair while they were on holiday in the Queensland holiday spot.

In the video, which was filmed by an onlooker, Yarbrough accused Clarke of cheating on her with his ex, Edwards, on December 17.

The extraordinary video begins with Yarbrough screaming at Clarke before she slaps him in the face and pushes him away after the cricketer insists he didn’t cheat on her.

He then swore on his daughter Kelsey Lee’s life he did not cheat on her, but Yarbrough refused to believe him.

“You’re f**king lying to me. You are a piece of s**t. I just spoke to her. What is wrong with you?” she’s heard saying.
