Cool Cars 7mate: Dermott Brereton, Elise Elliott add Shane Jacobson to cast

Australia’s love affair with cars is the focus of a new season of AFL icon Dermott Brereton’s hit car show and will feature another Aussie star who admits to being a total “rev head”.

Footy great Dermott Brereton and car expert Elise Elliott are bringing back their lifestyle TV show with a star addition — Shane Jacobson.

Brereton and Elliott indulged their love of classic cars with a new hit show this year called Cool Cars.

Now they are returning to the Seven Network for another season, with a new title and with entertainment favourite Jacobson who is also a lover of four wheel horsepower.

The 16 week series is being called The Grille and will focus on Australia’s love affair with their vehicles — from classics to supercars to 4x4s and bikes.

Elliott, a regular on 3AW, is unashamedly a rev head and along with Brereton and Jacobson will bring their enthusiasm and passion to viewers.

Filming is expected to start soon for 7mate to air early in 2024.

Brereton, a long-time commentator with Fox Footy, spent time as a travel reporter on Nine’s lifestyle show Getaway.
