The littlest Hemsworths stole the show as they cheered on their famous dad as he took his place among Hollywood’s elite.

Chris Hemsworth was surrounded by his family including glamorous wife Elsa Pataky, 10-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan and his parents Leonie and Craig as he was granted the honour of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

While his eldest child, 12-year-old India, was there too she understandably appeared to be camera shy given the impressive crowd which gathered to watch the ceremony.

The twins proved they have inherited the same Hemsworth charm as their famous dad and uncles Liam and Luke as they confidently smiled for the cameras.

The show of support was not lost on Hemsworth he dedicated much of his speech to them.

“I want to say thank you to my beautiful wife, who has been here for my entire career basically by my side, endlessly encouraging and supportive,” he said.

“And it doesn’t get lost on me that she put aside her own dreams in order to support mine and, again, (I am) forever in your debt.

“The fact (is) that nothing that I do, any of these moments, these special occasions and events, none of it is special without you by my side. I love you.”

Hemsworth’s film family was there in force too including his Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga co-star Anya Taylor-Joy and director and fellow Aussie George Miller.

Fellow Marvel star Robert Downey Jr introduced the Thor actor at the ceremony with a selection of cheeky jibes from some of their other suphero mates who were asked to describe him in three words.

“First off, (Jeremy) Renner says ‘absurdly annoyingly amazing.’ (Mark) Ruffalo came in strong with ‘friend from work,” Downey Jr quipped.

“Scarlett (Johansson) got to the heart of it with ‘sensitive leading lady.’ Captain America (Chris Evans) calls him ‘second-best Chris,” Downey added to laughter from the audience.

He finished the tribute with his own opinion of Hemsworth.

“Chris is a bit daunting to describe. He’s very elusive because of the pretty packaging. However, upon further inspection, he has a true-blue wit and he has a depth of soul, and it has been my sincere pleasure to know you these many years,” Downey said.

“You keep us Hollywood folks on our toes because you’re just a real dude.”
