Chatswood to get a new sports bar, Yogi’s, which aims to be “Sydney’s Best”

For a sport obsessed city, one thing Sydney doesn’t have a lot of is sports bar.
Now thanks to the metro, a new venue in Chatswood is aiming to become this Sydney’s premier sports destination.
Opening in November, Yogi’s Sports Bar is the brainchild of Tully Heard Consulting, the creators of The Greens in North Sydney and The Fernery in Mosman.
The American-inspired bar is a minute’s walk from Chatswood Train Station and of course will be filled with two large big-screen TV’s for live sports events, 25 additional screens across the venue, a dedicated arcade game area and six bookable private booths with personalised screens and table service dining.
The venue can screen Australian and American sports incLuding the UFC, NFL, NBA, NRL and boxing.
Tony Rudolph, who is worked at Canterbury Leagues’ Club and Crown Sydney’s Woodcut is the venue manager. The menu is made of classic, American style snacks which are all meant to be shared. Like pizzas, chicken wings and of course, fries.
The drinks menu includes a wide range of craft and classic beers, cocktails and wine.
In a statement Director of Tully Heard Consulting, John Tully, said the bar was “”tapping into the global trend of younger markets seeking more experience-based outings.
“The area was screaming out for a venue that delivers a multiple of sports viewing options in a fun and social way,” Tully said.
Thanks to the metro, sports fans in the city can be at Yogi’s in 12 minutes.
