VICTORIA and David Beckham have enjoyed a day in Sydney with some furry friends … but they still didn’t manage to pose together for a snap.
The power couple are currently enjoying their jaunt Down Under but managed to avoid being pictured together.
The former soccer star is continuing to brush off speculation that his 19-year marriage to wife Victoria — aka Posh — is in crisis, with it being reported earlier this week that his wife “cried for two days” after her hubby said their marriage was “hard work” in TV interview on The Sunday Project.
The Beckhams enjoyed a day together at Sydney Wildlife Park, and took some adorable snaps with the animals.
Victoria, 44, showed off her funny side as she posed alongside a kangaroo while cupping a superimposed emoji in her hand.
The fashion designer even managed to flash a rare smile for the fun family day out.
David, 43, smiled for a sweet selfie — and he was joined by a critter perching on his shoulder. He also wasn’t shy about injecting a bit of humour into the snap, by adding a dream bubble saying ‘chill’.
David even appeared to get a kiss from a koala who lent over to get up close and personal with the father of four.
And it wasn’t just the parents that had all the fun — youngest son Cruz, 13, got in on the action too.
The teen looked head on at a koala, with Becks captioning the image: “Best friends 4ever.”
David’s remarks to The Sunday Project about the state of his marriage came just four months after the couple were hit by unfounded claims that they were set to divorce.
A friend told The Sun: “When Victoria was given the heads-up on … about David’s interview, she was absolutely devastated.
“She has no idea why he would say such insensitive things and publicly embarrass her like this.
“As you can imagine, it was as if a nuclear bomb had gone off in the Beckham household when she found out.
“She was in pieces and spent the next two days crying. To say it’s not been the best of weeks is an understatement.”
In the interview with Ten’s The Sunday Project, David said: “When you’ve been married for the amount of time that we have, it’s always hard work.
“It becomes a little more complicated.”
