Uma Thurman’s makeup artist takes responsibility for new look

UMA Thurman’s new look had many people claiming the actress had undergone cosmetic surgery. But this man has claimed responsibility.

WHEN Uma Thurman appeared on the red carpet this week to promote The Slap, it ignited more discussion about the state of her face than it did the show.

The 44-year-old actress looked quite different and social media was left wondering what was responsible for her tight forehead.

Amid speculation that the Kill Bill star had gone under the knife, Thurman’s makeup artist, Troy Surratt claimed responsibility for her new look.

Mr. Surratt told Refinery29.comthat he “did a much stronger brow and a bold lip for a French sort of feel.”

The makeup artist denied that anything other than a bit of makeup ingenuity was at play.

“The way I shaded her eyebrows with the pencil, I created an uplifting effect,” Surratt explained.

So there you have it, if you believe Mr. Surratt’s words, never underestimate the power of a little blush.

Uma Thurman has not commented on the look.
