Sophie Monk sets the record straight about Wayne Carey rumour

THE former Bardot singer has set the record straight about Wayne Carey after she was rumoured to be “making whoopee” with the AFL legend.

SOPHIE Monk has denied that she’s hooking up with former AFL star, Wayne Carey.

KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O called Monk on their radio show this morning to set the record straight after the Herald Sun wrote: “Wayne Carey and Sophie Monk are rumoured to be making whoopee”.

“Congratulations about Wayne Carey,” Sandilands said to Monk, “out of all the men in the world you could have chosen you’ve chosen a bloke who roots his mates’ girlfriends”.

“You’re an ass!” Mon replied, before saying there’s no truth to the rumour whatsoever.

“He was at a restaurant. I met him and spoke to him for a little bit and that was all. I don’t even know him ... I think he asked for a photo and that was it.”

Sandilands pressed Monk further, asking, “Was there a little feel up or anything?”

“No!” Monk said.

“I feel like if you’ve got a public name and you meet someone else with a public name, that’s it. “Poor guy, I don’t even know him to talk to him about this [story].”
